A General-Aviation Airport on Tulsa's South Side

Tulsa Riverside Airport (KRVS), formerly Richard Lloyd Jones Jr. Airport, is a towered general-aviation airport about five miles south of Tulsa. Its primary Runway 1L/19R is 5,101 by 100 feet, with additional runways, instrument capability, Jet-A and 100LL. Riverside is a major aviation-training and business-aviation center, with hundreds of based aircraft and a large collection of aviation businesses. From KPRX in Paris, Tulsa is roughly a 35-minute repositioning flight under typical conditions.

Christiansen Aviation and Riverside Jet Center

KRVS has two full-service FBOs. Christiansen Aviation has served the airport since 1972 and provides full-service fuel, passenger and pilot facilities, maintenance, flight training, aircraft sales and leasing, GPU and oxygen service, catering coordination, and ground-transportation assistance. Riverside Jet Center is also a full-service FBO, offering fuel, hangar facilities, MRO support, aircraft cleaning, catering, and other business-aviation services.

A Good Fit for South Tulsa

For travelers headed to south Tulsa, Jenks, Bixby, the Arkansas River corridor, or nearby business districts, Riverside can put the airplane closer to the destination while keeping the arrival experience firmly in the general-aviation environment.

Direct Charter From the Operator

Air Direct is an FAA Part 135 on-demand air carrier based at Cox Field (KPRX) in Paris, Texas. We own and operate Citation Excel N560AD with professional two-pilot crews and complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi. When you charter with Air Direct, you work directly with the company operating your flight—not through a chain of brokers.

KRVS is particularly attractive when proximity to south Tulsa matters more than using Tulsa's primary commercial airport. Final runway suitability is always evaluated for the specific flight, weight, weather, runway condition, obstacles, and required reserves.
